PicoceramiX is the evolution of NanoceramiX, to be mixed with very white or very smooth paints. As a direct derivative of the original product, it is a compound of select microspheres with an average particle size of 25 microns (compared to the 100 microns of NanoceramiX).
This industrial selection, together with a higher density of nanotechnology coating (due to the smaller size of the microspheres) makes PicoceramiX the ideal product to add to any paint, especially those which are white or have a smoother finish.
The white color of the PicoceramiX nanospheres avoids altering modern colors with a high point of white, and the very small average size lends itself well to light layers, for example with superwashable or ultramodern decorative paints.
The nanothermal performance is at the utmost levels: similar to NanoceramiX, PicoceramiX is the thermo-reflective additive to be combined with any paint to counteract problems of thermal bridges and humidity.
In summary, the fundamental characteristics of the product are:
ANTI-MOLD AND ANTI-CONDENSATION ACTION
PicoceramiX creates on the treated surfaces a macroporosa thermoreflective texture that favors the dispersion of water vapor and counteracts the proliferation of mold preventing the formation of condensation.
The water vapor present in the vicinity of an internal wall treated with PicoceramiX is dissipated by the continuous passage of reflected heat, and then transhale through the wall thanks to a high porosity of the radiant thermal barrier composed of the ceramic nanosphere.
ENSURING A CLIMATE OF WELL-BEING ALL YEAR ROUND
As mentioned, PicoceramiX can be applied both outside and inside but we recommend the application inside.
When the application is outside the product, in the summer cycle, allows the walls to repel the radiant heat of the sun while keeping the interior of the house cool in the warmer months.
Thanks to the application of PicoceramiX inside, however, the walls retain the radiant heat of the domestic heating in winter and the cool resulting from the air conditioner in summer, thus limiting their dispersion outwards.
This accompanies another important property of PicoceramiX, namely increased energy savings.
REDUCING ENERGY COSTS
PicoceramiX, in fact, allows a reduction in air conditioning and heating costs, thus reducing the monthly costs related to energy consumption, lightening the bills!
EASE OF APPLICATION
After mixing PicoceramiX with painting in the recommended doses, it is enough to apply the compound directly to the surface that you want to make thermoreflective.
During the drying process of the paint layer nanospheres gradually approach, welding at the molecular level and forming the thermal barrier that blocks and reflects the passage of heat.
For proper mixing of PicoceramiX it is recommended to watch the available video!
PicoceramiX could alter the tone of the painting.
Before using the product it is advisable to read the Data Sheet and the Safety Data Sheet!
We recommend applying PicoceramiX on interior walls with smooth bases such as plasterboard, or on rough bases such as civil plaster, fine mortar or the like.
Recommended minimum dose: 80 grams of additive per 1 liter of undiluted paint
It is available in packs of:
0.4 kg for 5 liters of paint (for 25-30sqm);
1.2 kg for 15 liters of paint (for 75-90sqm);
6.0 kg for 75 liters of paint (for 375-450mq);
Recommended minimum dose: 80 grams of additive per 1 liter of undiluted paint
